Horse Activities in Alaska - The summer is the highlight of our horse activities. There isn't a weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day that there isn't a major AQHA, AHAS or ADA show. Not to mention the numerous trail rides, 4H camps, and rodeos taking place throughout the state.

Horse Facilities in Alaska Alaskans ride indoors and out, all year long! In fact, there are over eight public indoor arenas within an hour of Anchorage, plus three additional public show and riding facilities.

 

The Annual Parade of Stallions hosted by the Alaska Morgan Horse Association is held on Mother's Day every year.
